Built in 1857, the lighthouse is the tallest in the entire Garden State and is just a short walk from the Showboat Casino. It’s a quick climb and all admission is free, so if you’re looking forward to some historic Atlantic City time, the Lighthouse is the perfect opportunity for you.

When it comes to experiencing the casino scene in Atlantic City, our favorite location is the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, which features numerous tables, events, shows, amazing accommodations and the perfect environment for indulging in everything Atlantic City has to offer.

CHOOSE YOUR RESTAURANTS

Another important part of the perfect Atlantic City experience is eating like a king, and with so many great restaurants to choose from, you can enjoy every meal you eat while you’re in town.

One of our favorite restaurants in AC is the Old Homestead Steakhouse, a world-famous destination for some of the finest cuts of beef around. The Old Homestead’s Atlantic City location is located inside the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, so if you’ve already booked your room or are enjoying some games at the tables, you can head over to the restaurant the moment hunger strikes.

Another of our favorite restaurants in Atlantic City is Dock’s Oyster House, the perfect destination for the seafood lovers among you. Dock’s has been offering satisfying, perfectly prepared seafood for over 115 years, and your trip to Atlantic City can only be made better by stopping by for a dinner reservation and a sample of some of the succulent seafood on their menu.

Atlantic City is one of the liveliest cities in New Jersey, and planning your summer trip should yield you all manner of exciting options.
