AFTER PROM LOOKS

GUEST POST BY ARLENE D’ANTONI FROM AFTERPROM.COM

After Prom is the place where your prom night truly starts! The prom only comes around once a year, and in most cases, you only get one chance to do it right. Why would you want to end the night the moment the dance ends? An after-prom party is the only way to make sure you get the most out of your big night. After all, you want memories that will last forever, don’t you?

Picture this: You just left prom in your gorgeous Executive Limousine, and now you’re about to dance your night away at one of the AfterProm.com clubs or party cruises. Get ready to create a night you’ll never forget. It’s time to let your hair down and change into another amazing dress to top off your perfect night. If you need some help picking out some killer outfits look no further. We have put together some of our favorite After Prom dress trends to help you make a perfect choice.

MAKE A MESH OF IT

Our first favorite trend is mesh cut outs. This type of dress gives you a little edge for the night, while still staying After Prom classy. The two choices above come from the fabulous online store Tobi.

SHINE, SHINE, SHINEd

SEQUINS SEQUINS SEQUINS! Nothing says I’m going to have a fabulous time more than wearing pretty sequins. Of course, sequins can be very bold and eye-catching, but you don’t want to do too much. That’s why this year we love the sequin skirt paired with a chic top. It’s not too over the top and is very comfortable. We found some great picks at Nordstrom.

NOT YOUR GRANNY’S TABLECLOTH

This year’s After Prom looks are all about the lace. Lace is an old style that has been revamped to give a modern, classic look. You’ll feel elegant and romantic while still looking trendy. Lulu’s has some of our favorite lace dresses, and they are adorable and affordable.

We always want you to have the most fun, but your safety is more important than anything else. Be sure you have rides to and from all the festivities because driving distracted is never a good idea. Happy Prom Everyone!
