6 UNIQUE LONG ISLAND WEDDING VENUES

While some couples may look forward to a getaway wedding in New England or the Caribbean to celebrate their upcoming nuptials, at Executive Limousine, we’re big fans of keeping the celebration closer to home. Long Island is home to some truly unique, fabulous wedding venues.

With lush vineyards, sweeping waterfront views and trendy Brooklyn locales, there’s no reason why getting married “at home” should feel uneventful. With the help of outstanding local wedding vendors, you’ll be able to craft a big day that feels all your own. Need some ideas? Here are our favorite Long Island wedding venues.

LONG ISLAND WINE COUNTRY

Long Island’s gorgeous, up-and-coming winemaking region is too fabulous to omit from this list. It’s unique, beautiful and a short drive for you and your wedding guests.

Macari Vineyards, in the North Fork, is one of Long Island’s most breathtaking wedding venues. Breathtaking vineyard views, striking sunsets and a skilled, professional team of event planners guarantee your wedding will be an event to remember.

Similarly, Pindar Vineyards also offers an unforgettable setting for an outdoor wedding. The vineyard has a selection of spaces that suit guest lists of all sizes, including a beautiful covered wisteria deck.

A luxury shuttle will be able to seamlessly transport your guests to and from the festivities.

BROOKLYN BOTANICAL GARDEN

If you’re dreaming of an outdoor wedding, look no further than the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Arguably Brooklyn’s most romantic locale, the Botanical Garden offer a stunning backdrops perfect for pictures. Ceremony sites include the Rose Garden, the Osborne Garden and the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden. Receptions are held in the beautiful glass-walled Palm House and The Atrium. Each of the Botanical Garden’s settings offer their own character that you are your guests are sure to love.

INDOOR LONG ISLAND WEDDING VENUES

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue… Why not count an aquarium as your “something blue”? At Atlantis Banquets + Events, an aquarium full of colorful, tropical fish can serve as your backdrop. An occasion as special as a wedding calls for an equally special setting. At Atlantis, couples can choose from a variety of venues, including a 120,000-gallon shark exhibit and a spacious ballroom that overlooks the Peconic River.

In addition to a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, Atlantis also offers impressive cuisine and service — they only host one reception at a time, from 20 to up to 650 guests. Everything about your big day, from decor to the menu, can be tailored to suit your tastes and budget.

LONG ISLAND WATERFRONT WEDDING VENUES

The Liberty Warehouse is the clear standout when it comes to the most unique places to get married in Brooklyn. It’s the only New York wedding venue that offers a front-facing view of Lady Liberty herself.

Another exceptional waterfront place to wed is at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Here, you can host your ceremony in your choice of three locations that offer sweeping views of Manhattan. There are a few guidelines to keep in mind before planning your ceremony here, however.

Couples must apply for a non-refundable permit. Ceremonies may not exceed more than 1.5 hours and have a maximum of 100 guests. Wedding receptions are not allowed. Though there are a few hoops to jump through, the view and potential photo ops are well worth it.
