LONG ISLAND FALL FESTIVAL

October 7-10, 2022

Brought to your by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce, the Long Island Fall Festival is an annual event held on the 25 acre plot of land of Heckscher Park.

The Festival offers attendees a number of great activities throughout its 4-day run. Day 1 kicks off with a carnival, extensive food court and live music, while the remainder of the festival will feature the same carnival, plus contests, vendors, live music, wine tent and various other shows for great family fun.

Paid for entirely through corporate sponsorships, the LI Fall Festival offers free admission for all attendees.

31st ANNUAL FALL FAIR

September 21, 2019

For the past 26 years, the United Methodist Church of Huntington has hosted the fall fair on their church lawn; rain or shine, 2015 will mark their 27th year of inviting residents and visitors alike to enjoy some food and take part in a fall-themed activity or two.

With plenty of adult and kid-friendly activities on the calendar, the Fall Fair is the perfect spot for the whole family the last weekend in September. Enjoy everything from a bake sale, a plant sale, handmade jewelry and crafts to baked goods, tie-dying, toy sale, a tag sale, a silent auction, kids’ bouncy castle, and more.

The best part of the Fall Fair is that the proceeds go to help local Huntington Charities; over the past 26 years, the United Methodist Church has donated near a quarter of a million dollars to numerous local charities.

RISE OF THE JACK O’LANTERNS

October 16, 2022 – November 2, 2022, Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Held at the Old Westbury Gardens, this great fall event will feature more than 5,000 hand-carved and illuminate jack-o-lanterns, each created by a professional artist or sculptor. These timeless Halloween decorations will line a 1/3 of a mile stretch through the gardens, creating an eerie and delightful site for attendees. You can also enjoy huge artistic displays of classic cars, a giant pumpkin carving station and more, all of which is helmed by our local artists and professionals.

OKTOBERFEST 5K

October 1, 2023

Combine your desires to eat German food, drink great beer and race for charity at the Oktoberfest 5K, held on Saturday, October 10, at the Bench Bar and Grill in Stony Brook.

Enter the 5K and race from 10-11, then enjoy all-you-can-eat authentic German food and beer. You’ll also get free entry to the Bench’s Oktoberfest festivities, which includes great activities for you and the kids, including a bounce castle, face painting, carnival rides, root beer and ice cream.
